T he difficu lty and the key of stone coa l ex traction vanad ium w ere po inted out. The vanadium leaching process from stone coal w as rev iew ed, inc lud ing its leach ing condition, app lication c ircs and its respective m er its and fau lts. A lthough no- sa lt-roasting and d ilute ac id so lution leaching technology had the ad- vantages o f low cost, h igh vanad ium leaching effic iency as w e ll as low po llution, th is technology could no t be applied for a ll stone coa l. N o- salt-ro asting N aOH so lu tion leach ing techno logy, calc ium sa lt roasting extracting vanadium techno logy and h igh concen tra te acid leach ing technology had the character istics of low po llution and h igh vanadium leaching eff iciency.
