第 4 期 电 子 学 报 Vol .35 No .4 2007 年 4 月 ACTA ELECTRONICA SINICA Apr. 2007 灰度图像的二维 Otsu 曲线阈值分割法 范九伦, 赵 凤 (西安邮电学院信息与控制系, 陕西西安 710061) 摘 要: Otsu 法是一个常用的阈值分割方法.为了利用图像的区域信息, 本文在二维 Otsu 法的基础上提出了曲线阈值型Otsu 法, 传统的二维 Otsu 法可以看成是该方法的一个特例.实验结果表明, 对于含噪图像, 它能够获得优于传统二维Otsu 法的分割效果.为了减少计算量, 提高分割速度, 给出了一种递归算法和一种小波变换与递归算法相结合的快速算法.该递推算法只需遍历二维直方图的主对角线和一条次主对角线, 与传统 Otsu 法的递推算法相比, 搜索 空间由 L ×L 个点减少到 2L -1 个点. 关键词: 图像分割;阈值选取;Otsu 法 中图分类号: TN911.73 文献标识码 : A 文章编号: 0372-2112 (2007)04-0751-05 Two-Dimensional Otsu s Curve Thresholding Segmentation Method for Gray-Level Images FAN Jiu-lun ,ZHAO Feng (Department of Information and Control , Xi an Institute of Posts and Telecommunications , Xi an , Shaanxi 710061 , China) Abstract: Otsu s method is a frequently used thresholding segmentation method.In this paper , in order to utilize the infor-mation of edge region , we present a curve thresholding segmentation method based on two-dimensional Otsu s method.The tradi-tional two-dimensional Otsu s method can be regarded as a special case of it.Experimental results show that for images with noise the proposed method can obtain better segmentation effect than the traditional two-dimensional Otsu s method.In order to decrease the amount of computation and promote the speed of segmentation, a recursive algorithm and a wavelet transfer combining with the recursive algorithm are shown .The recursive algorithm only need search the main-diagonal and one sub-diagonal of the two dimen-sional histogram .Compared with the recursive algorithm of traditional two-dimensional Otsu s method , the searching space is obvi-ously decreased from searching L ×L points to 2L -1 points . Key words: image segmentation;threshold selection;Otsu s method  引言 图像分割是图像分析、理解和计算机视觉中的难点 .在图像分割的诸多方法中 ,阈值化技术是一种简单有效的方法[ 1] ,Otsu 法[ 2] 是广泛使用的阈值分割法之一 .Otsu 法也称为最大类间方差法或最小类内方差法 , 是由日本学者大津展之(Otsu)首先提出的 .该方法基于图像的灰度直方图 ,以目标和背景的类间方差最大或类内方差最小为阈值选取准则 ,在很多情况下都能取得良好的分割效果 .但在实际应用中 ,由于噪声等干扰因素的存在 ,灰度直方图不一定存在明显的波峰和波谷 ,此时仅利用一维灰度直方图来确定阈值往往会造成错
