Machinery manufacturing industry production capacity and level of development marks the degree of modernization of a country or region of the national economy, the production capacity of the machinery manufacturing industry mainly depends on the sophistication of the machinery manufacturing equipment, product performance and quality is good or bad depends on the manufacturing process the level of in the process. The connecting rod is the vital parts of diesel engines. Rod in the process of passing power to withstand high cyclical impact force, inertia force and bending forces. This requires that the connecting rod should have a high strength, toughness and fatigue properties. At the same time, because the engines moving parts, it requires a very high weight accuracy. With the development of the automotive industry, the demand of the connecting rod is increasing, there have been many different manufacturing processes. Key words: Machine
