Jay Chou Jay Chou,the most popular singer in China,He is also a songwriter,arranger and producer. Jay is the revolutionary and creative singer of Asian popular music circles after 2000.He was named as the king of the Asia pop music. In January 1979，Jay Chou was born in Taipei County , Taiwan Province.He start his music career by album Jay in November 2000.In 2008,the lyric of his song Blue and white porcelain appeared at the college entrance examination in Shangdong and Jiangsu province,and it’s the first time that a pop singer’s lyric appeared at the college entrance examination.Before that,his lyric of snail, Shanghai 1943, listen to ma mas words was put into the primary and secondary school’s textbook.In 2010,the global download his song ranks third in the world,only after LadyGaga and Michael Jackson.In December 2010,the International asteroid named center approved that the Number of 257248 asteroid named as Jay Chou Star.In May 2012,Jay Chou was the first one who ascended Forbes list Chinese celebrities .
