Abstract:Objective:To evaluate the clinical value and discri inatory power of a diagnostic kit to diagnose Coronary Heart Disease and deter ine the Opti al Operating Point (OOP)using the Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC)curves, and explore the ethod to deter- ine the doubtablevalue interval.Methods:Based on the CAG and clinical observations, 508 peoplewith the disease and 176 without the disease were selected to easuretheir OxLDL, and the ROC curvewas plotted.Res lts:The areaunder the curve was 0.9723 with a high statistical significance.It showed that the diagnostic kit was suitablefor Coronary Heart Disease screening, the OOP of the diagnostic kit was deter ined and interpreted at 40.70U/Lwith higher sensitivity and specificity.The doubtablevalue interval of 36.90U/Lto 47.80 U/Lwas deter ined at the sa e ti e.Concl sion:It was useful using ROC curve when assessing the perfor ance and deter ining the OOP and doubtablevalue interval of a screening test.
