A legal text ’s comp rehen sion is of sp ecial app earance s. From the theories of interp reta tion of law of jurisp rudence, th is p ap er ob serve s the p rincip les of comp rehen sion and a circle of understanding wherein the who le text relie s on the p art of the text who se understanding relie s in tu rn on the who le text ’s m ean ing and their dialectical relation sh ip. It also includes the imp act of the tran slator ’s p rejudice upon the m ean ing of the text and the tran slator ’s crea tion in tran slation, wh ich is in direct relation sh ip to the legal tran slation.
