As we know, classroom teaching is one of the most important ways that the students learn English. As far as the English teaching is concerned, teachers have to arouse the students’ interest so that they may learn better. There are many ways to arouse the students’ interest and help them to learn better. All of them should make the classroom teaching be fun and easy. But I have to admit that, from their behaviors and expressions on their face, my students do not seem to like to do exercises. The problem has been troubling me for a long time .Now I’ll finish my study in Tangshan Radio ＆ TV University. I have confirmed the reasons for my students’ reluctance to participate English classes. Reluctance: Being afraid of making mistakes Some students don’t feel interested in using this language they think they can’t communicate without teacher. They are afraid that the others would laugh at their poor English. They don’t think they can learn anything from the activity. They have language problems(vocabulary, pronunciation new expressions ,etc) I have determined to solve the problem.
