The end * This movie is about a young woman named Amelie who has been shielded from the world by her neurotic parents because they mistakenly believe she has a heart condition. Amelie suffers from some of the same neurotic genes that her parents possessed. After her mothers death Amelies father fears that she will never be able to go out on her own. She does however go out on her own, and works as a waitress in a small restaurant/bar called The Two Windmills. Amelie is an unusual character and quickly realizes she is not satisfied with life. After hearing of the death of Lady Diana Amelie makes a change and decides to help people.
