（五）整體計畫中文摘要 （請於一千字內就本計畫要點作一概述，並依本計畫性質自訂關鍵詞。） （關鍵詞：　　　　　　　　　　　　） 本計畫的目的是在現有的基礎之下，增加相關的儀器設備，如太陽望遠鏡，光譜儀，小型的教學望遠鏡，再向中央大學借用當初鹿林山天文台探址計畫所使用的Celestron -14 望遠鏡鏡筒，就可以建立一個完善的天文教學實驗室。另外，中央大學也可提供網路遙控墾丁天文台的相關經驗，加裝網路遙控作業系統，進而擴展成一個可以經由網路遙控的天文台。第一年的計劃目標：建立數位化天文台，增開天文相關課程，提昇成功大學的天文教學品質。第二年的計劃目標：增購相關的天文觀測與實驗器材，提昇天文台的設備品質，與學生素質，使得成大的天文實驗室能成為鹿林山天文台的的優質合作對象。第三年的計劃目標：改進天文台使成為一個可以經由網路遙控的天文台，與中大天文台及墾丁天文台形成聯合觀測網，可互相支援觀測需求。第四年的計劃目標：開放成功大學天文實驗室，使得國內各大學的學生，尤其是參與其他分項計劃的學校，都可以經由網路以及相關的視聽設備，在秋冬兩季，利用南台灣的好天氣，從事天文觀測。並開放成功大學天文實驗室供中、小學地科教師使用，作為中、小學地科教師進修的重要場所。 （六）整體計畫英文摘要 （Keywords：　　　　　　　　　　　　） This is a four years project. In this project, we will add a solar telescope, a spectragraph, and a few small teaching telescopes to the existing facilities. We will also install a Celestron–14 telescope, which was used during the Lulin site survey mission, on loan from NCU. After all the new and borrowed instruments are in place, the National Cheng Kung University will have a small but full fucntional astronomical observatory. In the next stage, we will make the observatory network-ready. With the proper networking hardwares and softwares, we will turn the NCKUO into a fully remote controllable observatory. During the first year, we will install a digital observatory, add new astronomy courses to our curricula, and improve the quality of the astronomical teaching in our department. In the second year, we will acquire most of the planned instruments, fine-tune the existing equipments, and improve the fluency of students in using these facilities. In short, we try to turn the NCKUO into an excellent training base for users of the Lulin observatory. In the third year, we will try to link Lulin, Kenting and NCKU observatories together and build a intra-Taiwan observatory network. In the final and forth year, we intend to open the NCKUO to the colleges in Taiwan, especially to the other participating universities of the Excellence in Fundamental Education Initiative.
