六、阅读理解 Zhang Heng was a Chinese astronomer, mathematician and geographer living in 100～200 AD in the Eastern Han Dynasty. He had published a number of literary works, which gained him considerable fame as a young man. He had served several positions in the court but later refused to serve in the government and spent the rest of life far away from the capital, where he spent almost all of his time on scientific studies. There were many false scientific theories concerning the universe and the earth at that time.
