Common commands for Linux system polling
Linux server
Linux system requires regular visit to check the server hardware and software usage, amounts to a persons physical, ensure that can find and solve problems in time, reduce loss, the commonly used inspection command is as follows:
# uname - a # checks the kernel/operating system/CPU information
# cat/etc/issue # to view the operating system version
# cat/proc/cpuinfo # to view CPU information
The id of the processor logic processor.
Physical id physical encapsulated processors id.
Core id for each core id.
CPU cores are in the number of cores in a processor with the same physical encapsulation.
The number of logical processors in a processor that is in the same physical wrapper.
The physical id is 0, which means I have only one physical processor; Lets say that the CPU is 4, the physical id has two, the core id has 8, and the value of the number is 8, and there are 16 processors.
So the server host CPU for two physical encapsulation treatment each processor has four core (CPU cores), each CPU core can be divided into two logical processors (hyper-threading technology), as a result, each physical processor has eight logical processors, a total of 16 processor.
