Tire removing machine provided with a ground resting base (2), a hollow support (3) which is rigidly associated with said base (2) and which is provided with a supporting flange (6) for a motor vehicle wheel having bead-holder rims, a hollow securing shaft (10) extending from said base (2) until it protrudes from the hollow support (3) and being directed perpendicular to the supporting flange (6), a wheel centering and securing cone (12) which is anchored to the securing shaft (10) outside said flange (6), a traction pin (16) being rotatably seated within the hollow securing shaft (10) and extending beyond the centering cone (6) and ending with a traction head (17), a tool (21) for respectively mounting and removing a tire onto and from the wheel, a tool-holder bar (18) being at least temporarily coupled to the traction head (17) so that it is rigidly associated therewith and extends in a cantilevered manner starting from the traction head (17) until it reaches a rim of the wheel, so as to keep the mounting and removal tool (21) in working position in contact only with the rim of the wheel, means (14,15) for actuating the securing shaft (10) which are supported by said base (2) , and motor means (25) for rotating the traction pin (16). 2.
