第一屆港韓園藝治療交流心得(1.10-5.10-2010) Maia Tam 這是我第一次去韓國，它給我的印象是整潔、美麗、安靜。 This is the first time I visit Korea. It is tidy, beautiful and a peaceful city. Korea gardening is not the same as Hong Kong style. They pay more attention in their agriculture. The governor encourages their citizen to develop, raise and research it. In the first day, I see the large formal farmland along the highway; they have high technology to protect their agriculture. The government has knowledge and financial supplement to help the people to establish their own farmland. South Korea looks like Japan, also looks like Taiwan. They have Japans fineness, also has Taiwan peoples creativity. In the first day, we go to the Pyochang Herb Land, it is a sensory garden, with five sensory elements, it lets you totally relaxation and feel peaceful. I like the decoration like the water pipe which children like to play with it very much. They decorate it with many flowers and plants over the water pipe; I think it is very creativity. Under this play area, you get vision and smell sensory. Moreover, there is sense of hearing. They play the gentle music in each corner of the garden. It is a soft and light music; it flutters in your heart in unconscious, lets you relax. Furthermore, they are equipped with the dining room and a little store in the garden. They make the food with their herb, like cookie. It is the taste sensory. Although the herb garden is not quite large, it can spend you a lot of time to explore it. I feel it is worth to recommend you to visit it. The other place makes me feel impression is Seoul Forest. They arrange an outdoor activity with us. The worker places a colorful circle on the rock table and asks us to collect different natural thing in the garden, like rock, flower or leave….etc. Then we find a rock and take the flower and leave between a cotton handkerchief. Under the worker’s instruction, we use the rock and beat the handkerchief,
