PVP pH . : ; ; + : O 614.41 2 : A : 2011) Synthesis and Characterization of Mesoporous Zirconia Based on Polyvinylpyrrolidone K30 Template AN Xianfen, SONG Xiuqin ( College of Chemistry and Material Science,Hebei Normal University, Hebei Shijiazhuang 050016, China) Abstract:A steady mesoporous zirconia has been successfully synthesized based on polyvinylpyrrolidone K30 (PVP) template by the precipitationaging process. The TG, XRD, SEM and N2 adsorptiondesorption analyses have been used for the characterizations on the stability of precursor and the structural of product. The results show that the zirconia which synthesized based on PVP template has relative ordered mesoporous structure.T he ordered structure can be maintained to some extent after calcination at 600 and exhibit a higher thermal sta bility. Moreover the wall of pore of zirconia takes a pure tetragonal phase. The influence of various conditions on the porous structure of ordered mesoporous zirconia is discussed.
