An Economic Study on Tree Species of The Plan of
National Reforestation Campaign

Abstract The plan of National Reforestation Campaign is an important policy in forest management.
The study will discusses the subject of economic problems about tree species in the plan of National
Reforestation Campaign. Some forest evaluation equations were applied in this study to estimate
economic values of tree rotation. We take a tree species of Chamaecyparis formosensis as an example,
according tree volume growth models to illustrate the economic benefit. The results of the study will
afford a basis information for the plan of National Reforestation Campaign.
