Meth侃Is Cos- metic samples were assessed for microbial contamination by the Hygienic Standard for Cosmetics issued by the Ministry of Public Health 01 China. Resulωof the 1,851 samples examined during a period 01 6 years , 46 (2.49 % ) did not m臼t the national standards and 89 (4. 81 %) samples were fαmd to be contaminated with bacteria. Among the 1,517 samples submit- tedby the manufacturers , 14 (0.92%) samples were unqualified and 61 (4.02%) samples had bacterial ∞ntamination .
