Rows go front to back and side to side. There are twelve children in the class. There is at least one boy and one girl in each, front to back (row) or side to side (row). The boys are Alan, Bob, Jack, Bill, James, Tony. 6 boys The girls are Mary, Pam, Ann, Lily, Sue, Lisa. 6 girls Mary sits in front of Bob. Tony sits behind Pam. Jack sits in one of the desks in front of Ann. Pam is in the same row as Jack. Jack and Bill are in the same row. Sue and Mary are in the same row. James sits next to Sue.
