A mi ing at the dem and in integrat ing the ex isting data resources, and in conceiv ing the uniform in form at ion p latform, w e eva luate the applicability of J2EE in building the m ult-i layer m eteoro log ica l inform a tion system, set up the basic structure o f the system based on J2EE, and ut ilize JDBC to put up the conso lida ted operation am ong the isom erou s and d ispersive data- bases. By m eans of JAA S and electric signature, w e strengthen the security o f the w ho le system and data in the process of inform ation sharing, and d iscuss the application of J2EE techno logy in constructing the dis- tributed and dynam ic m eteoro log ica l inform a tion system.
