Located in the capital of the United States, The Post has a particular emphasis on national politics. D.C., Maryland, and Virginia editions are printed for daily circulation. The Post has distinguished itself through its political reporting on the workings of the White House, Congress, and other aspects of the U.S. government. LOGO The Washington Post About Katharine Graham Katharine Meyer Graham (June 16, 1917 – July 17, 2001) lead her familys newspaper, The Washington Post, for more than two decades, oversee the Watergate coverage that eventually led to the resignation of President Richard Nixon. Her memoir, Personal History, won the Pulitzer Prize in 1998.
