The result showed that there were high correlation among the bulk weight, the gelatinization of starch and the hardness.The effects of the equipment parameter and the formula feature is highly significant for the bulk weight.It was permitted to estimat the gelatinization and the hardness by the bulk weight, and to control the products bulk weight by adj usting the feeding rate and the proportion of extruded maize.
