Abstract:Effective ligh tning protection rebuilding can improve the lightning protection performance of transmission
line, and the technology and economy evaluation of lightning protection measures is the foundation for increasing the
cost/benefit ratio of lightning protection rebuilding.Therefore, a technical and economic assessment method w as
proposed to formulate lightning protection rebuilding measures in accordance w ith the evaluation process of screen-
