Intelligent Control System for Energy Saving and
Nobody on Duty Heat Exchange Station

Abstract T o solve the problems of the heat exchange station, an intelligent control system for nobody on duty is proposed, which is
composed of HMI, PLC, VS and GPRS module. T his paper presents the automatic secondary temperature control loop, and the design of
the VS control solution for circulating pump and make- up water pump, then theremotedata communication via GPRS network. T he prac-
tice proves that program modular design is reasonable, and the control precision of algorithm is high, communication also has stable reliable
performance. T he application in a north city heat exchange enterprisereduces energy consumption and waste, and brings great economicben-
efit.
