Abstract：ThispaperfoCUSOSonthebifurcationandstabilityofthetrivialsolution(0,0)
ofa particularsystem ofparabolicpartialdifferentialequations． The equation isa．san
amplitudeequationonaboundeddomain(0，L)withDirichletboundaryconditions．Inthis
paper，theasymptoticbehaviorofthestationarysolution(0,0)oftheamplitudeequationis
considered．W iththelengthLofthedomainconsidered asbifurcationparameter，branches
ofnontrivialsolutionsareshownby theperturbation method．Besides，in thispaper，a
studyismadeonlocalbehaviorofthesebranches．Moreover，thestabilityofthebifurcated
solutionsareanalyzedaswel1．
