Abstract: Laboratory data indicated Tetrastichus incertus ( Ratzeburg) has great fecundity and aggres
siveness. Under the condition of no food , the total lifetmi e fecundity of female ranged from 45 eggs to
209 eggs, average fecundity is 117 eggs and themost daily fecundity reach 31 eggs. To a fem ale, it can
parasitize 37 hosts. The longest longevity of female is 18 d. OneT. incertus to five alfalfaweevi,l Hyp era
p ostica would be necessary to achieve 56% parasitism of host. And the number of fecundity of female in
creased w ith increase of larval density.
