It is probably being used to underscore, emphasize a feeling. In more polite conversation one might say resume or be persistent with complaining criticizing. A more polite word, but one without the same feeling or intensity, would be to nag. * Language Points Bitching is complaining that is ongoing and excessive complaining or criticizing. Bitching is often loud and tactless and rude. What the bitching is directed about, is often not the primary issue.
