The effects of varying amounts of superab sorbent polymers( SAP) on the humidity of HPC w ith various w atercement ratios as the HPC w as cured at tw o different circumstances w ere determined. Experimental results show that, in comparison w ith HPC w ithout SAP, the relative humidity in SAP added H PC w as raised, and the distribution of humidity w as uniform. T hese effects w ere strengthened w ith the increase of SAP addition and they w ere eminent in HPC w ith the low w atercement ratio in the dry hot curing condition. T he results suggest that incorporating SA P in HPC can be an effective selfcuring method.
