Abstract
Central Business District is the core of night image of city． It plays a pivotal role in the revitalization of
the night ，promoting urban economic and the charm of the city． The core layout pattern is a typical layout
pattern of CBD in China． The morphological characteristics of CBD in the core layout pattern are analyzed
based on urban planning． The basic methods and the points of the nightscape lighting planning and design
are briefly discussed in the urban scale ，medium scale and human scale respectively ，which provide a
reference and guidance for such CBD nightscape planning and design．
