关于虎王的经验:
自从506营在1944年9月15日接收虎王以来,士兵们对此非常满意。目前为止遇到的问题大多是磨合不到位造成的,一旦磨合的好,虎王将是可怕的武器
以下列出虎王在行驶50-100KM后的机械故障
12个最终传动器外壳?(final drive housings.什么鬼?)
10次履带张力装置损坏
叉杆损坏
主轴断了(这个屌)
主轴螺纹出现断裂
4个齿轮或链轮断了,其他所有的均有50%的磨损
主轴的中轴,所有的槽(应该指的是齿轮槽)都出现扭曲
6次变数箱的齿轮出现反应迟缓
1个舵机
1次引擎故障
1个扭力杆折断
1次油箱漏油,从点焊处漏出
虎王在阿纳姆的战斗情况
1辆全面报废。因为迫击炮击中后车体,弹片从通风口进入燃料箱,导致燃油起火,整车报废(233)
第二辆也被打中相同的地方,但是没有起火
第三辆被未知口径炮弹击中炮塔顶部,造成擦伤,送回国维修(………………..)

原文:The following documents was made by 506. Panzer-Abteilung in preperation of a visit by Albert Speer between 26 September and 1 October 1944. Of special interest is the point made about using combat tracks, rather than transport tracks, for train transportation.
Subject: Items from the visit by Reich minister Speer.
Experiences With the Panzerkampfwagen Tiger B
Since 15 September 1944, the battalion has been fully equipped with the Panzerkampfwagen VIB. The soldiers are satisfied with the new vehicle. The problems experienced so far has been teething problems1, and once they have been fixed, the Tiger B is?the?heavy tank.
The following mechanical malfunctions has arisen after 50 to 100 kilometers of travel:
12 final drive housings.
10 track tension devices.
Fork lever broken.
Spindle broken off.
Spindle thread sheared off.
4 sprockets, teeth sheared off, whereby 50% of all sprocket teeth has been heavily worn.
1 final drive intermediate shaft, all grooves twisted, so that the housing could only be removed by cutting through the intermediate shaft (80 mm). While disassembling the other housings, the grooves were also found to be more or less twisted.
6 transmissions with gear switching delays.
1 steering gear.
1 engine, water in cylinder.
1 torsion bar broken.
1 fuel tank, leakage from spot welded area, causing fuel loss; was likely the cause of two previous fires at the training ground.
