首脑外交视角下的中美关系（Sino US relations from the perspective of summit diplomacy） Abstract from the end of the cold war from 1991 to 2005, the heads of state of China and the United States conducted 58 summit diplomatic activities mainly through three forms, namely, meeting, telephone and letter writing, involving dozens of topics. This paper adopts empirical research method, after the cold war, the frequency of Sino US summit diplomacy forms and issues in-depth analysis; factors affecting relations between the two countries and according to the analysis results of further investigation after the cold war, the relations between the two countries with diplomatic mechanism reflected by the summit, as well as the development of bilateral relations. [1] after the end of the cold war, with the close relationship between the two countries, the changes in the international situation and the development of science and technology, the summit diplomacy between China and the United States has been unprecedentedly active. While strengthening and promoting bilateral relations and witnessing the development of bilateral relations, China US summit diplomacy also provides a new angle of view for the study of Sino US relations. On the basis of the relevant theories of the summit diplomacy, this paper studies the Sino US diplomatic relations after the cold war by empirical methods, and then analyzes the development of Sino US relations after the cold war.
