2015 Community Cultural Activity in Tainan Located on the east side of the Longsan community are the agricultural and pastoral areas. On the west side lies a renowned vast lagoon which is also an area for hanging oysters. This area produces the countrys highest quality oysters. On the southwest side is the Chiku river estuary. This place has a large area of mangroves and is a habitat of the egrets. Chiku lagoon is also the habitat of the black-faced spoonbill. Today, we will explore this beautiful fishing village with the host families, understand the contribution of the local people to the community, visit community attractions, and personally make our own black-faced spoonbills ornament. 1.
