Based on analysis on water environ ment influenced by suspended sediment due to explosion and compaction , this paper simulates transportation and diffusion of suspended sedi ment caused by explosion and compaction , under functions of tidal currents and waves. Consequently , discussion about rules of transportation and diffusion of suspended sediment is made , and results show that explosion and compaction has some influence on water environment of sea area , but the incidence is limited and the duration is limited too .
