Major and broad recently carried out research on thermal barrier coatings (TBC) reviews on the LHR engines are already carried out by for the internal combustion engines. The main objective of the S.Jaichandar et al [1] which addressed the effect of insulation present paper is to review the effects of thermal barrier coating on engine performance, heat transfer characteristics, and on both SI and CI adiabatic engines (also called as low heat combustion and emission characteristics of insulated engines rejection engines or insulated engines).
