A fast and exactly segmenting method of slant license plate was proposed in this paper. First morphological operator was used to acquire the elective zones of vehicle plate, and the large and small region was eliminated. Then the corner of reserved region was detected and clustered. As a result, the slant plate region was exactly segmented. Experimental result proves that this method in this paper is fast and accurate.
