Application of Image Noise Removing Based on Improved Median Filtering

Abstracts: An improved median filtering algorithm acquires the median after the noise image filtering window filtering
the most and least pixel grey degree value at first. Then, the minus between the median and corresponding pixel grey
degree value is calculated. After compared with the threshold, it can be decided whether the median substitute the grey
pixel or not. The simulation experiment of the image processing indicates that the improved median filtering algorithm can
remove image noise more effectively than the conventional one.
