Lew 教授 美国北亚利桑那大学地理、规划与游憩系教授 （Department of Geography, Planning and Recreation, Northern Arizona University ）。 现任Tourism Geographies刊物 （SSCI ）主编 ，International Academy for the study of Tourism会员 ，国际地理联合会 （IGU ）旅游、休闲与全球变化 专业委员会副主任委员 ，美国地理学家协会 （AAG ）游憩与运动地理专业委 员会委员。 Alan Lew教授主要从事旅游地理及旅游区域影响方向的研究 ，发 表代表性论文SSCI文章20余篇 ，在可持续旅游发展、旅游吸引物以及中国旅 游研究方面 的多篇文章单篇引用达到150次以上 ，H指数达25 ，出版著作8本 ， 其学术研究成果获得多项学术奖项。 授课提要 Emerging Research Frameworks for Tourism Geography Conceptual frameworks and research paradigms are essential for scholarly research because they connect localized case study research to broader, international debates. The forthcoming publication of the Wiley Blackwell Companion to Tourism (2014; edited by A.A. Lew, C.M. Hall and A.W. Williams) comprises 50 chapters that review the current state of the art in tourism research, and maps out the landscape of conceptual and methodological approaches that are in use and emerging today.
