Task 1　　版本1：If your friend wants to keep a pet, what is your advice?　　（版本2：Your friend is considering keeping a pet. What kind of pet you will suggest and what advice you will give to him?）　　It depends on what kind of animal he wants to keep.　　Take dog as an example. Other benefits, is that it is simply something fun and relaxing that I can do in my own time and on my own curled up somewhere. It doesnt require me to be attentive or analyze everything I read. It gives my body a chance to relax.　　In my spare time, I enjoy reading popular fiction like Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Nicholas Sparks’s novels, Confessions of a Shopaholic, etc...独立题　　本次口语题目的独立题出现了比较明显的思路变化，需要学生有较为灵活的思路和较强的口语表达能力才能够答好。ETS在口语独立题改换思路、增加难度的意图已经十分明显。　　答题思路分析如下：　　Q1: Your friend is considering keeping a pet. What kind of pet you will suggest and what advice you will give to him?　　这道题目的思路比较新颖，脱离了ETS在第一题中的常规的人、地、物、事模式，而采用了建议方式。不过虽然新，但仍属于日常话题。虽然不是所有的学生都有养宠物的经历，临场编一些理由也不是太难，比如：养宠物需要时间(time and energy)、耐心(patience)、经验(experience)、空间(room/space)等等。需要注意的是，如果没有特别的建议好讲，就选取一个比较普通的宠物，如猫、狗等，容易展开。如果有特别的建议或经历，就可以选取较为与众不同的宠物
