The importance of corrosion studies is threefold includes economic losses, improved safety and conservation. Corrosion control of metals is of technical, economical, environmental and aesthetical importance. The main cause of the structural deterioration of all metallic mains is external corrosion which is included by environmental and operation conditions. It is necessary to remember that the choice of a material depends on many factors, including its corrosion behavior. The engineering aspects of corrosion resistance cannot be over emphasized.
