U sing the tmi e-h istory analysis and considering the m ateria l non linearity of re inforced concrete o f the p ier, the non linear se ism ic responses of the two br idge structures subjected to horizontal seism ic ground m o tion are analyzed, and the t mi e h istories of m om en ts, shear forces, d isp lacem ents and rotat ion angles of p lastic h inges are presented. T he resu lts show th at, com p ared w ith the cont inuous g irder bridge, the shear forces o f T- sh aped rig id-fram e bridge are bigger, the m o- m ents o f T-sh aped rig id-fram e bridge are sm aller, and the ang le of plast ic hinge o f T- sh aped rig id-fram e bridge is e- ven sm a lle.
