Indicators (1) Low Oil Pressure Indicator ( Shown in Fig.3-1-2 ) It is an engine oil pressure warning light. The light should come on every time when your ignition key is turned to On or START, and should go off when the engine starts. If the light stays on or comes on while the engine is running, you have lost oil pressure and continued operation will cause severe engine damage.
