Abstract: In raf founda ion design , usual design sof w are may cause grea resul diff erences among differen sof ware or differen pos ula es in
one program for differen calcula e models or simplify me hods used. As he key componen of design , sedimen a ion and diff eren ial
sedimen a ion has he issue of choosing compu a ion pos ula es. Based on an ac ual projec , using universal fini e elemen sof ware ANSYS and
design sof w are JCCAD, he sedimen a ion of raf founda ion is analyzed , he resul s and safe y in differen assump ions are compared, and he
scope of applica ion is ob ained. Then he compu a ion pos ula es are sinula ed by ANSYS, he diff erences of sedimen a ion are compared,
changes of sedimen a ion discussed by soil s iffness, some advices are give for he selec ion of he universal sof ware of founda ion design by
simula ing he assump ions . Analysis resul s indica e ha by reasonably choosing parame ers in design , by using elas ic halfspace pos ula e w e
can ge more safe y s ock.
