I. Introduction
Interview is the most commonly used method of personnel selection, but a large number of studies show that the traditional unstructured interview lacks effective reliability and validity, and can not provide good employment decision-making basis for the organization. In recent years, structured interviews have been adopted by more and more organizations. However, due to the lack of technical knowledge of its development and application, this method is not effective in practical use. Read many documents, the current domestic attention to the interview also focused on this method is introduced, and an explanation of the structured interview is superior to non structured interview, structured interview and Discussion on the process of development and implementation of the procedures, methods and techniques is still lacking.
Structured interview is a standardized method of personnel selection based on job analysis, which is superior to the unstructured interview in reliability, validity and fairness. There are two main types of structured interview, one is behavior description interview (behavioral description interview, BDI); the other is situational interview (situational interview, SI). At present, these two types of structured interview are widely adopted in the United states. But in these two methods, behavior description interview is more widely used than situational interview.
