It compares the similarities and differences of Green Network City with GI, Ecological City, Green Ecological Network Urban Planning theory on space, functions, scales and building motivations. Moreover, it highlights that the theory of Green Network City has the theoretical and practical significance of the ecological dominance, the diversion of people and vehicles, the benefit of urban safety, the reduction of the municipal maintenance cost, and the construction of innovative open blocks. Furthermore, the theory model is demonstrated through the ideal urban design unit. Finally, it reveals the adaptability of the theory in the old city reconstruction and the open street transformation by the
