Optmi ization on tmi e lmi it and cost of the transportation problem w ith supp ly amount specified and demand interval constraint is formu lated by wt omulti- objective programm ing models in th is paper. A s the solution meth od of themodels, two algorithm s are proposed. And the application of the algorithms is illustratedw ith an exam ple. The algorithms not only can find the optmi al solutions to the problem, but also have good performance in the sense of being mi plemented on computer, convergence, etc. Num erical expermi ents have validated the great practicality and effectiveness of the algorithm s, wh ich can be used to solve some k inds of assignment problem.
