Because of the high stability of PLC and the strong adaptability to environment, the application of PLC in automatic door control device is more and more extensive. This research is carried out around the automatic door control device. First of all, the development trend and the adopted technology of automatic doors at home and abroad are analyzed. Then, the MicroLogix 1000 PLC used in this system is briefly explained. On this basis, the communication software RSLinx, programming software RSLogix500 and configuration software RSView32 used by Rockwell automation company PLC are studied. And in accordance with the requirements of automatic door control device, design the corresponding ladder diagram files, realize the whole process of automatic door opening detected by waiting, closed, through the RSView32 configuration software Rockwell simulation of automatic door system, and the implementation of real-time monitoring. On the basis of the software and hardware design, according to the requirements of the subject, through a series of simulation tests, the experimental results which meet the requirements of the subject are obtained. At the same time, the method given in the design process has great guiding significance and practical value for the same design in the future.
