Traditionally this meant that the HMI could connect every controlling system. This is possible with iX as well but that is not what we mean. The truly open system in iX can be defined in 3 levels. Level 1. Script. In iX there is full support for C# scripting, not just some made up script language. If functionality is missing the customer can make them in script and this way can often our customer be helped. Note! Script is not a must, iX is filled with ready to use components. Level 2. Components. Customers are not dependent of the components that has been decided to implement. If the customer find a component on the net or develop it by them self, it can be imported to iX and then used as a standard component Level 3. Really big customer that want to use the develop platform as their own, then they can adapt it.
