Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing 100039, China ) Abstract To satisfy the particularity of space circumstance and the rigid performance specifications, a fuzzy controller based on wavelet analyses is presented for servo control of space tracking system. The algorithm, which combines qualitative information expression of fuzzy control and outstanding part control performance of wavelet basis function, uses wavelet basis function as membership function whose shape can be adjusted on line by error so that the fuzzy control can maintain a better adaptivity. Experiment results show that the controller has better dynamic and anti-jamming performance than conventional PID (Proportion, Integral, and Differential) controllers.
