PM is most commonly found in young children. 75% of cases occur in the age of 2yr (age 6 to 12 months) One of the most potentially serious infections, associated with high mortality (about 10%) and high neurologic sequelae Introduction ---Tuberculous Meningitis (TBM) TBM is an infection caused by the tuberculosis bacteria, in which the membranes covering the CNS is mainly invovled TBM is a type of severe TB, always be a part of systemic disseminated tuberculosis, often occurs within 1 year of initial infection（感染1年内）, especially in the first 3 to 6 months of infection. TBM occurs in all age groups. The younger the children, the more readily to develop TBM. 60% in Children aged within 3 years（60%3岁） .
