A Comparison between Chinese Family Education And American Family Education Abstract: Family education has been paid attention by people since ancient times, but it has been studied as a subject in recent years. This is the development of the times, the needs of talent; the problem that overall quality of the country must be involved. We explore the importance of family education，which the purpose is try to shoulder the task of educating the next generation with family and society, and the education sector. With the analysis of the educational purpose, educational content, educational methods, educational results and the causes of the formation of these differences, and the thesis gives the corresponding revelation. Chinese parents should correctly understand the importance of family education and respect the differences between Chinese and American family education. We should timely update the concept of family education, pay attention to the child’s overall development, training children the ability to think independently.
