The existing accident causation models in world such as Swiss Cheese Model (SCM) and System-TheoreticAccident Models and Process (STAMP) basically work well in the analysis of accident causes, but there is still much room for improvement. Essentially a refined version of SCM, 24Model makes it easy to see and discover the various causes of accidents, via properly defining accidents, their causes and changing the definition of hazards to causes of all accidents (all unsafe acts and unsafe conditions), it is much easier both to get accident causes and work out practical preventing strategies.The methodology andprocedure ofthe analysis of accident causesbased on 24Model apply to any accidentsin every field ofwork andlife.
