Electric Power of Henan, Zhengzhou 450052, China ） Abstract: Aiming at the deficiencies in the organization and presentation of alarm information and inability in quickly estimating the causes of accidents in traditional substation automation system, an intelligent alarm/accident aided decision-making system for intelligent substation is proposed in this paper. The system can be effectively used to guide and assist the operator to make a quick and accurate decision, and improve the management of operation and reliability of power supply in smart substation by categorizing, hierarchically optimizing alarm information, establishing fault reasoning model and reproducing of accidents. The results show that it has great practical value in the automation system of substation and deserves extensive application.
